We had a great conversation with author Sally Mann Romano about her new book and colorful life. She moved from Texas to California as a teenager and over the years hung out and became friends with Phil Spector, Frank Zappa, Janis Joplin and more while in Los Angeles. When she moved to San Francisco she hung out with Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane (marrying their drummer Spencer Dryden) and ended up working for the Grateful Dead and then marrying Richard Manuel (keyboardist for The Band.) Sally has a helluva story to tell!
