The Matt McNeil Show
Matt McNeil is a proud Minnesotan, on live weekdays from 3pm to 4pm. Matt has been living most of his life in the state of his birth. He's a husband, a father of three, a veteran, and a broadcaster. He's worked in radio for over 25 years, starting with Armed Forces Radio in Nuremberg, Germany. He currently lives in Hopkins.
On his show Matt talks politics from a Democrat/Progressive perspective, but he'll also venture into parenting, religion, entertainment, sports, gardening, business, cooking, and many other subjects. He interviews politicians, political insiders, authors, pundits, entertainers, and artists, and loves talking to the listeners.
Besides being on air, you can read his thoughts at the 'Progressive Citizen X' blog.
On today’s show: The Blue State Ball is back. Don’t send Millie to Philly for the NFC Championship. And the Trump administration tries perhaps their craziest sale ever of a talking point.
Did the Vikings win yesterday drive some Packer fans to insanity? Ten on a more serious note what would MLK think about where we’re at today.
Matt doesn’t think the Vikings will win(or that a Super Bowl win is worth $2 billion). Then the S-word scandal for so called president Donald Trump. And why mining jobs don’t really help northern Minnesota.
Matt uses the hour to talk service dogs, Republicans, and High School Sports.
Why high school sports becoming more and more expensive for working class families. Plus workaholic Trump and his four hour (if even that) work days.
I saying “that’s above your pay grade” an offensive term? Then how to deal with trolls (i.e. Russian bots).
Matt is back! Matt talks about Michelle Bauchman’s potential run for senate. New book paints Trump White House as an embarrassment.
Alan Miller fills in for Matt. Republican State Senator Scott Jensen joins the program as well as candidate for US Congress Angie Craig to talk about her bid against Jason Lewis for the 2nd Congressional District.
