Matt and Jeff start non-political talking about comedians Jim Gaffigan and Jeff Foxworthy coming to Minnesota. Then they discuss Trump trying to derail the House 1/6 committee with executive privilege, Chuck Grassley getting endorsed by Donald Trump, Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin causing headaches for Democrats and more.

Hour 2 segment 1: Giant Beavers! Could they become Minnesota’s official state fossil? William Shatner gets launched into space. The MN COVID-19 update with lots of unfortunate ugly stats.

Hour 2 segment 2: A judge denies a request to deny vaccination requirements for workers.

Hour 2 segment 3: Matt speaks with former MN house rep. Erin Maye Quade, who announced she will be seeking the DFL Senate nomination in the south metro district 57, which is currently held by DFLer Sen. Greg Clausen.

Hour 2 segment 4: An update on the story of the assault allegations against members of the Proctor football team with the head football coach now resigning.
