Visit All My Relations Arts for Uŋči Said So, a Bold Tribute to the Wisdom of Native Matriarchs
All My Relations Arts and NACDI are proud to present Uŋči Said So, a solo exhibition by Danielle SeeWalker (Húŋkpapȟa Lakȟóta) that honors the generational knowledge and quiet power of Native matriarchs. Through signature expressionist portraiture and vibrant neon accents, SeeWalker’s work blends contemporary color palettes with a “knowing” realism to explore both personal and communal narratives. Rooted in stories shared over frybread, this collection highlights how grandmothers have maintained cultural sovereignty through a blend of humor, reverence, and resistance.
The exhibition is on view at All My Relations Arts from April 10th through June 6th. A special Artist Talk and Parfleche Workshop will be held on Saturday, May 16th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
