AM950 Contest Rules
AM950 Contest Rules
No purchase is necessary.
Employees of the participating promotional partners or AM950 and their immediate family members are not eligible. Employees of other radio stations are not eligible.
Only one entry per person.
Contestants must be age 18 or over.
No “duos”, groups or teams will be allowed to enter together.
Any age can win unless otherwise noted.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes if any.
The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received and/or the number of contestants participating in the contest.
The decision of AM950 will be final as to all matters relating to this contest.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.
Contestants and winners acknowledge that if they enter any contest under a false, fictitious, or fraudulent name, address or phone number, they will be automatically disqualified from this contest and any future contests on AM950.
Contest winners who have won any prize from AM950 within ninety (90) days of entry, or, have won any prize from the same contest, event or series of concerts (multiple days within a 90 day period) are not eligible. Also those who have already won a prize during AM950’s listener appreciation month are not eligible for additional prizes, except for the grand prize.
Contestants listening to AM950 via the internet stream or through social media are advised that there is a delay between the time the cues to call are made on the air and when they are heard over the internet and therefore will be at a disadvantage over those contestants listening over the air. Listeners to the online stream may not be able to timely participate in any station-conducted on-air contests. Due to this delay in AM950’s streaming broadcast, listeners to the online stream are encouraged to listen to the Station live on-air.
For on-air giveaway contests, the contest will begin as soon as the announcer announces on-air the number of the caller necessary to win the contest. For example, if the announcer states that the 5th caller will be the winner, the contest will begin as soon as this announcement is made. Calls for participants are taken in the order that they are received.
Winners will be notified by phone call, email or social media direct message.
Giveaways on social media posts: Contestants must have an an active social media account. If winners are contacted via social media they have three days to respond before forfeiture of prize.

Release of liability: All winners and their guests, by acceptance of any prize, agree to release and hold forever harmless AM950 and their affiliated prize partners, their affiliated companies, their agents, officers, employees, affiliates and assigns for any injuries, accidents, misfortunes, or causes of action arising from or in connection with participation in any contest, acceptance of any prize, use of any prize, or while traveling to or from any prize related activity.
