Mary Gaasch and Jenny Floria of Crescent Cove joins host Ken Haglind on “Living Healthy and Aging Well” radio show to talk about pediatric palliative care in Minnesota. Mary is Crescent Cove’s Executive Director and Jenny is the Director of Engagement. They will talk about the families served by facilities like theirs, and what makes pediatric hospice care so unique from adult hospice. Crescent Cove is the only pediatric respite and hospice home in Minnesota and one of only 4 in the U.S. Instead of being a place of sadness, Crescent Cove focuses on “Making Moments Count” and bringing joy to children with shortened life expectancies.
