Dr. C. Riley Snorton is a professor of English language and comparative literature and is core faculty at the Institute for the Study of Sexuality and Gender at Columbia University. He is the author of the award-winning book Black on Both Sides: A Racial History of Trans Identity.

Dr. Darius Bost is associate professor of Black Studies and of gender and women’s studies at the University of Illinois Chicago. Bost is the author of the award-winning book Evidence of Being: The Black Gay Cultural Renaissance and the Politics of Violence.
