Hour 1 segments 1: It’s Matt’s last day for awhile as tomorrow he has hip surgery. Today we talk about the Minnesota Reformer story about a Minneapolis Police officer admitting their department has “taken ‘hands-off’ approach to crime fighting.”

Hour 1 segments 2/3: Continuing with the Reformer story, what would happen if other professions like police officers decided not to do their jobs? And why aren’t other cities around Minnesota having the same problems with not doing their jobs as the Minneapolis Police Department?

Hour 1 segment 4: How the DFL should message on the Minneapolis police amendment ballot question.

Hour 2 segment 1: The salmonella outbreak. The MN COVID-19 update, including what’s happening at schools around Minnesota and a student who has unfortunately died from COVID.

Hour 2 segment 2: A look at how many rural, Republican MN counties are struggling with big COVID case rates.

Hour 2 segment 3: Matt is joined by Bill Corbett of RiffTrax and formerly Mystery Science Theater 3000 about a live RiffTrax Halloween show Oct. 26 they having coming up (https://www.rifftrax.com/live). They also talk about why there are so many bad horror movies.

Hour 2 segment 4: Hour 2 wrap up as Matt takes a few days off for his hip surgery.
