Hour 1 segment 1: We start today’s show talking about Marvel and other TV shows on streaming services. Then we go darker with today’s MN COVID-19 update, including the first case of Omicron being discovered in Minnesota.

Hour 1 segment 2: We continue with the MN COVID-19 update including the lack of ICU beds available in the state.

Hour 1 segment 3: Mark Meadows confirms Donald Trump tested positive for COVID three days before his debate before Joe Biden but did not disclose the diagnosis. Trump then held two rallies in Minnesota after the debate. A month later at a MNGOP election party event several Republicans got sick, including former state Sen. Jerry Relph who unfortunately died. Could Trump have caused the COVID spread? Also an update on the Hastings hate group that bullied an 8 year old transgender child.

Hour 1 segment 4: An update on the Hillman Township controversy about the township not maintaining a road leading to a family home.

Hour 2 segment 1: A MN popcorn shop (Redmond’s) was featured on ‘The Late Show’ — then had to close 2 days later due to an inspection fro Hennepin County that just happened to occur two days after his national TV appearance. KSTP reports Wright County Sheriff Sean Deringer called out what he says is a lack of leadership at the Minneapolis Police Department during a public meeting for the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training.

Hour 2 segment 2: A caller comments about how the MPD has also had trouble with their treatment of women.

Hour 2 segment 3: Matt is joined by Bring Me the News meteorologist Sven Sundgaard. They talk about Sven’s winter forecast preview, wild fires expanding to Montana, snow chances for the Twin Cities the next few days and more.

Hour 2 segment 4: How winters in northern Minnesota actually used to get snow that wouldn’t melt right away, much like it does now.
