Matt and Kris discuss data on super spreader events like Sturgis, schools that have recently opened around the country having trouble with COVID, staying safe at the MN State Fair, Pfizer’s COVID vaccine getting full FDA approval and more.

Hour 1 segment 2: The MN COVID 19 update. Trump mismanaging the pandemic at a critical time in Jan.-March 2020.

Hour 1 segment 3: Matt talks more about Pfizer’s COVID vaccine getting full FDA approval. Even with that approval right wingers will still come up with crazy excuses not to get vaccinated.

Hour 1 segment 4: The Vikings are bad both on and off the field, especially when it comes to having the lowest vaccination rate of any team in the NFL.

Hour 2 segment 1: The University of Minnesota will require COVID vaccinations. Highlighting Minnesota athletes in the Tokyo paraolympics. And MN Republican governor candidate Scott Jensen pays a visit to Matt’s Twitter feed. Jensen responded to a tweet talking about Education Minnesota’s decision not to participate at this year’s state fair.

Hour 2 segment 2: The mess that is the MNGOP in the wake of Jennifer Carnahan’s resignation. Could her $38,000 severance package get rescinded? And possible replacements for Carnahan.

Hour 2 segment 3: Politico’s story on the MNGOP’s dumpster fire. How there are still MN Republicans backing Carnahan and saying she was a “victim.”

Hour 2 segment 4: A group of right wing extremists will attend the Anoka School board meeting tonight to protest mask and COVID mitigation policies.
