Hour 2 segment 2: The Star Tribune reports a Twin Cities medical-device firm CEO (Midwest Medical Holdings in Mounds View) has been charged after the IRS says he and his company failed to pay several years of payroll taxes, interest and penalties totaling more than $6 million.

Hour 2 segment 3: Our Democrat of the Day is Richard Painter, who is running for the DFL nomination in the special election for the 1st Congressional district.
