Living Healthy and Aging Well – October 17, 2026
Bob Koehler with the Minnesota Gerontological Society joins host Ken Haglind on “Living Healthy and Aging Well” to discuss the multidisciplinary study of the aging process and the physical, mental, and social changes people experience as they grow older.
Minnesota Gerontological Society, or MGS, has been serving Minnesota professionals for more than 50 years. They believe that helping older adults isn’t the responsibility of just one profession. It takes healthcare providers, social workers, housing specialists, legal professionals, nonprofits, researchers, educators, policymakers, and many others working together.
Today, that mission is even more important. Minnesota’s older adult population is growing rapidly, and the challenges surrounding aging are becoming more complex. MGS brings together professionals from across those disciplines to learn from one another, share best practices, and improve the lives of older Minnesotans.
