Living Healthy and Aging Well – May 3, 2025

Erin Hartung, Director of Legal Services at Cancer Legal Care,
and Maddie Babel, Development Manager at Cancer Legal Care,
join host Ken Haglind on “Living Healthy and Aging Well” to
discuss Cancer Legal Care’s services and answer the question,
“why would I need an attorney on my cancer treatment team?” In
the United States, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed
with a cancer in their lifetime, and as a result many will face
financial devastation known as “financial toxicity.” Cancer Legal
Care aims to reduce financial toxicity and engages the law to
resolve the complex issues facing people and communities
affected by cancer. They help Minnesotans facing cancer, and
