Breakfast at Paisley’s with Guest Lena Lopesio (3/4/18)

Guest Lena Lopesio, Interior Designer and former owner of Vogue Furniture in Bloomington discusses trends in contemporary furnishings and her work with music legend Prince.

Tools needed…

Mixing glass
Julep strainer
Bar spoon
Low ball glass


1/4 oz absinthe
2 oz rye whiskey
1/2 oz maple syrup
2 dash Peychaud bitters
1 dash orange bitters
1 piece crispy Bacon
3 Blueberries


Add the absinthe to a chilled low ball glass. Turn the glass to coat the sides with the absinthe, then pour out the excess.

Add the rye, maple syrup both bitters, and ice and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds.

Strain the rye mixture into the absinthe-coated glass.

Garnish with bacon and 3 blueberries.
