Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus Presents This is Me on June 21 and 22

Join the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus for this season’s grand finale, “This is Me,” a concert aimed at challenging body image stigma. This event is a collaboration between TCGMC (Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus), James Sewell Ballet, Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale, and See Change Treble Choir.

At the heart of the concert is the premiere of “Every BODY,” a commissioned piece by composers Kyle Pederson, Melissa Dunphy, Sharon Udoh, Britney Boykin, and Dr. Gerald Gurss. Every BODY will also be featured at the 2024 GALA Choruses Festival in the Twin Cities, an event uniting 8,000 singers worldwide.

Special Guests:

  • James Sewell Ballet: A contemporary ballet company blending classical technique with modern choreography.
  • Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale: An intergenerational choir celebrating the treble repertoire and diverse communities.
  • See Change Treble Choir: An ensemble celebrating women’s artistry and strength through song and collaboration.
  • Youth Soloists: From MacPhail Center for Music and Minnesota BoyChoir.
