AM950 Condemns Political Violence

We are heartbroken by the tragic and senseless violence that took the lives of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, and left Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette hospitalized.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, colleagues, and all who are mourning today.

These were targeted attacks on public servants—members of our Minnesota community who dedicated their lives to service.

AM950 condemns this political violence in the strongest terms. In moments like these, we must come together as a community to stand for compassion, decency, and democracy. Violence has no place in our public discourse.

We will continue to cover this story with care and integrity, and hold space for reflection, unity, and healing.
