Wall of Power Radio Hour – January 23, 2016

Paul Metsa chats with lifer musician Andy Lindquist. Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Andy started playing guitar as a kid and eventually found himself in the Twin Cities and old enough to be playing the barroom rock and roll circuit in the Upper Midwest. He had a couple of Major Label Development deals that went nowhere and decided to start releasing his own music independently. He went through some serious health problems (some with which he still deals with) and married his wife, a nurse, in his hospital room! He has a great attitude and tale of survival. All of the profits from his record sales goes to a group he founded based in Pakistan to help young women get out of the sex trade. Metsa and Lindquist ended the show with a live blues duet written by Andy.
