David Schultz (MN Progressive Repartee 9/4/19)

Brett Johnson was recently joined by Hamline University political science professor David Schultz. They discussed parallels on how the DFL is trying to drive young voter turnout in 2020 with legalizing recreational marijuana to what the DFL did in 2012 getting young voters to the polls to vote against the anti-marriage amendment. They also talked about if voters still care about the personal lives of politicians and whether state fair appearances by politicians still plays an important role in elections.
